A Timeline in Search of a map: What's the maximal extent for a democratic Maltese republic? Let the Tail Wag the Dog In 1530, Charles V of Spain granted Malta and Tripoli to the knights of St. John. They suffered a setback in 1540, when Henry VIII dis-established all their holdings in England. The knights would go on to mount a heroic defence of the island in July 1551, but lose Tripoli in August that year. They managed to maintain their German holdings in the face of Lutheranism in 1577. Hey hello, I was wishing to create a world map of a flooded region, but to base myself, there's just maps of 100 meters flood, but you created this map,

The QBAM is wrong!

What I realized that there's flooded zones, I would like to inspire a map in yours like this, could you provide a map without the lines?

Hey, I've really enjoyed your maps based on innacurate cartographer maps from the past. Ever thought about doing the Toscanelli map?

Which Toscanelli map would that be? A lot of old map-makers copied each other (understandable, since each believed their maps to be genuinely accurate). Toscanelli's 1474 map is fundamentally the same as the 1492 Behaim Erdapfel map, for example.
